Dominic commenced practice in 2015 with Albar & Partners where he was involved in the practice areas of dispute resolution and corporate finance. Subsequently, he joined Ariff Rozhan & Co, a leading boutique and top-tiered dispute resolution law firm in Malaysia. Prior to joining LPPLAW, he was a senior associate in Albar & Partners. Dominic focuses largely on construction and engineering disputes but also extends his practice to areas encapsulating construction and corporate transactional matters including construction and commercial contracts, data privacy and information technology.

- Successfully advised and represented a telecommunications sub-contractor in adjudication proceedings for a dispute concerning the construction of tele-communication towers for a dispute quantum of RM17 million;
- Successfully advised and represented a leading infrastructure main contractor in resisting the enforcement and procuring the setting aside/stay of an adjudication award, procuring a Fortuna Injunction and initiating arbitral proceedings in relation to the construction of KTM railway works;
- Advised and represented a leading developer in disputes concerning the development of MET 1 Residences in KL Metropolis;
- Advising and representing a Singaporean public listed company and its Malaysian subsidiaries in respect of a dispute concerning the supply and construction of IT infrastructures for a hospital in Malaysia;
- Advised and represented an air-conditioning supplier and mechanical engineer for several disputes against a multinational main contractor;
- Acted and represented Dar Al-Handasah Consultants, a member of the Dar Group of Companies, together with its subsidiaries, in a dispute relating to the design and construction of the Butterworth Outer Ring Road connected to the second Penang Bridge, Malaysia. The quantum of the disputes amounted to approximately RM60 million.
- Successfully advised and represented a public listed developer in the setting aside of an adjudication award;
- Advised and represented a leading developer in Malaysia for a dispute concerning the imposition of back-charges against a former sub-contractor in court proceedings; and
- Detailed negotiation and drafting of bespoke construction contracts with the incorporation of the PAM 2006 template, for a leading developer;
- Successfully advised and represented a project management consultancy in its counterclaim against the employer;
- Successfully advised and represented a Cocoaland Holdings Berhad in obtaining an order in terms for a court convened meeting in relation to its proposed RM488.15 million privatisation;
- Successfully advised and represented a developer in obtaining a Fortuna Injunction in opposition to the enforcement of a contended adjudication award;
- Preparing and drafting the standard letter of award and conditions of contract for the construction arm of a public listed developer.
